Is there a cost to the programme? 💸
No! Like all of our programmes, this programme is free to participate in. However, you would be required to meet the application criteria in order to be eligible.
Who is behind the content and concept? 💡
The ESG Lauchpad curriculum is designed, written and delivered in collaboration with our corporate sponsors as well as individual advisors who are doing amazing things in the world of ESG and the wider built environment.
The ESG Launchpad is powered by The Land Collective CIC, an award-winning, youth-focused organisation that encourages engagement in the built environment sector through showcasing career opportunities, supporting the development of commercial awareness and providing educational resources about the sector.
Is there a certificate at the end of the programme? 🏆
Yes, all participants subject to attendance on the programme will receive a certificate of completion. Alongside this, participants will also be invited to the corporate challenge day at the end of the programme, where you have the opportunity to connect with our sponsors and present your learnings from throughout the programme in teams.
Do I have to commit to the full eight weeks of the programme? 📅
As the content will be live sessions, ideally yes - all sessions will be recorded for future reference in required but we prefer for all of the participants to be present.
For you to pass the programme you have to attened atleast 6 out of 8 of the sessions.
Do I need experience in ESG or the built environment to apply? 💼
Nope! This programme has been designed to teach you the fundamentals of ESG from a built environment perspective, so that you can go on to learn further and do brilliant things!
Any experience in either sector would be useful, but it's not a requirement by any means.
What is the overall time commitment for the programme? ⏳
Each session over the course of the programme will be two hours in length, which will include a learning session, short break and an interactive workshop.
What will the selection process be like? 👥
The selection process will begin with your application on this website, finding out your motivations for applying and getting involved.
You will then be invited for a video interview with a member of our team, lasting around 45 minutes. The interview includes 2 sections: Section 1 is a chance for us to get to know you better and your long term goals; Section 2 contains more situational questions to let us see how you react on your feet.
If successful, you will receive an offer to join the very first ESG Launchpad cohort. Congratulations! Before the programme starts, you will receive the full programme of events and relevant Zoom links to join.
We store your information with strict confidentiality and all applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
What happens when the programme ends?
After you finish the programme, there will be follow up internship and mentorship opportunities with our sponsors. In addition to this, you will become part of the The Land Collective community. You can continue to interact with your peers on the prgramme, join events, and share news and opportunities.
